About
We’re building agents for in-house legal teams, starting with media/entertainment. Our customers use Third Chair to discover IP infringements, collect evidence, and recover millions of dollars in damages.
We’re both second-time, exited YC founders with deep domain expertise in this market. My last startup sold marketing analytics to Universal Music Group and Mr. Beast. My cofounder Shourya founded a fintech platform and scaled it to 2 million users and tens of millions in transactions.
AI will enable the first one-person unicorn. Third Chair will be their legal team.

Yoav ZimmermanFounder
Yoav previously founded Trendpop (YC W21) and scaled it past $1M ARR in the media/entertainment industry, selling to customers like Universal Music Group and Mr. Beast. Before that, he worked on machine learning at Google and early-stage AI startups.
Shourya LalaFounder
Shourya Lala is the Founder and CTO of Third Chair. He previously founded game-based investments startup Fello (YC W22), scaling it to 2mn users and tens of millions in investments. ex-ODF, ex-BlackRock, 2x YC
