At the crossroads of online gaming and video chatting, jam.gg is a web platform to play awesome multiplayer games with your friends. Jam.gg focuses on hyper accessibility with a patented technology cutting the internet bandwidth requirement by 15 on average. Jam.gg features top retro, pc indie and board games.
The project branched out in two companies in 2023 with Jam on one side and Onibi (https://onibi.gg/) becoming its own company. YC being on both cap tables.

Benjamin DevienneFounder
Benjamin worked in gaming at EA, Ubisoft and Gameloft on over ~20 games. He created and scaled data science at Gameloft. He joined Facebook as Head of Analytics then moved to Twitch as Head of Research. Now an entrepreneur, he co-founded Jamgg (YCS20) and Onibi (2023). He has spoken at global events like TEDx and lectured at prestigious universities, including UdeM and MIT.
Jules TestardFounder
Former academic researcher at UCSD. Worked as a software engineer at AWS, Docker and Madhive. Loves distributed systems, hacking things together quickly, surfing and gaming.
